WHO ARE YOU?

I am the somewhat reluctant owner of a fixer-upper in Springfield. I am frequently busy fixing or updating one thing or another. My past efforts have allowed me to work on a home theater that’s always been a passion of mine. Hopefully, my soundproofing efforts will keep me in good graces with my neighbors. When I’m not covered in dirt or drywall mud, I love to take my motorcycle out and enjoy some of the best riding in the country. Yes, I’ve been to many states on the bike, but the curvy, uncrowded roads in our area are a treasure that’s not as well known around the country.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

I work in the Electrical Department as a Senior Designer. My time is mostly spent completing designs in AutoCAD Electrical as well as Arc-Flash analysis for NFPA 70E compliance. As needed, I am also able to support on-site installations or start-ups.

FAVORITE ESC MOMENT?

I’ve been fortunate over my career to work for, and with, some great, hardworking, and generous people. Having said that, the difference between any past employer and ESC is considerable and quantifiable. Starting a company-wide meeting by asking for God’s blessing was a first for me. The generosity of the owners to all the employees as well as to charitable organizations locally and abroad is part of the culture. Charitable giving is expected and calculated into the weekly updates we receive.
